How does the Word 2000 Custom Version CD-ROM work? It’s
pretty simple. Each CD has an original
template version of the Participant’s Workbook and Facilitator’s Guide in
Microsoft Word 2000. Once you
“open” the template of either the Participant’s Workbook or
Facilitator’s Guide, you have all the capabilities of Word 2000 as long as you have
the appropriate Microsoft software loaded to read the CD.
To save your work, use the “save” command and rename the program. Once you do that, you will have your new version
in addition to the original template. You can
do this as often as you like. You can also
save your version to your hard drive, zip drive, or a different CD. The original template version on our CD will
always open up the same and cannot be deleted or from the Word 2000 Custom Version CD. You can copy your new version as often as you want
for your clients or customers as long as you keep it within your organization.
How does the License Agreement work? When you purchase the Word 2000 Custom
Version CD, you are given the right to modify, change, edit, delete, import, export, copy,
paste, add color, logos, clip art, fonts, etc., any of the content on the CD. You can create your own programs using our content
as your starting point. Your only limitations
to changes are the capabilities of Microsoft Word 2000.
If Word 2000 can do what you’re looking for, then you can do it with our
programs. You can also make as many copies as you like of your modified programs as often
as you need them. Again, just keep the
changes and copies within the purchasing organization.

The License Agreement noted above in #3 works the same whether you're training employees, customers, or clients. In your case, by using the Word 2000 Custom Version, you could create your own programs and reproduce them as often as you need them to train your clients. For example, if you had 10 different clients all wanting their own custom version of Coaching, you could develop 10 completely different programs using our Coaching program as your starting point. Each program could have its own logo on each page, different work-related situations, different graphics, etc. You would only pay a one-time fee of $179.95 for the Word 2000 Custom Version CD. If any of your clients would like to do their own reproduction because they have their own facilitators, they would need to purchase their own CD for the right to do that. Otherwise, you would need to make the copies for them.
Our fees are simply a one-time cost for any of our programs. The number of participants you train, when you train them, or where you train them, do not affect your costs with us. Your only ongoing costs would be for copying, printing, binders, etc., which we are not involved with. You handle and control all those costs. As you can see, the cost differential when using our reproducible programs can be significant.
If you're comfortable using Microsoft Word, we would recommend that you use our Word 2000 Custom Version CDs and make changes to the programs on your own. It's easy to do, most of the content work is done for you, and it's a very cost-effective way to get a custom program. If you still would like some assistance, we can contract with you to do make any changes.

What are the minimum requirements for my computer for the Word 2000 Custom Version CD? You need an IBM-Compatible PC with the following: Pentium 100 megahertz (MHz) or higher processor; Microsoft Word, Microsoft Windows 95 or later operating system, or Microsoft Windows NT Workstation operating system version 4.0 Service Pack 3 or later.
